Students may begin reading the documents associated with this project at any point in English 12 Unit 2, but should not begin drafting essays until they have completed the play, A Doll’s House. This prompt also appears in the English 12 Unit 2 assessment, but here it includes the readings on civil disobedience designed to help students deepen their thinking on the topic prior to writing about it.
