Chelsea is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Fishtank Learning. Prior to joining the Fishtank team, Chelsea was the Sr. Integrated Marketing Manager at Boston Ballet, where she managed a broad portfolio of audience development and retention initiatives. She is a former opera singer, with degrees from The Boston Conservatory and University of Colorado, Boulder. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys reading, podcasts, and exploring new corners of Boston.
Sarah is the Senior Curriculum Director for Mathematics for grades 3-5. Sarah began her career in education through Teach For America Massachusetts, where she taught 7th and 8th grade mathematics. She then joined the staff at Teach For America as a manager of teacher leadership development, supporting and coaching their new math teachers of all grade levels. She has a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Union College and a Master's degree in curriculum and teaching from Boston University. Sarah enjoys all things food - cooking and trying out new restaurants and cuisines.

Livvy is a School Partnerships Manager at Fishtank Learning. Before joining the Fishtank team, Livvy spent the past five years teaching early elementary school. She started her teaching career in Brooklyn, New York at Achievement First where she taught both Kindergarten and 1st Grade. Most recently, she taught Kindergarten at an independent school in Boston. Livvy is a graduate of Cornell University, where she got her B.S. in Human Development. She earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on early childhood education at Relay Graduate School of Education. In her free time Livvy enjoys running, coaching youth sports, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors!
Victoria Feazelle is the School Partnerships Associate at Fishtank Learning. Before joining Fishtank Learning, she was a Hollis Watkins Muhammad Leadership Institute Intern at OneVoice Mississippi. She also liaised with the Board of Directors of a new charter school in D.C. and supported the strategic planning and operations. Victoria is a proud graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies. She enjoys exploring new places, immersing herself in nature, and engaging with her local community in her leisure time.
Sarah is the Operations and Development Manager at Fishtank Learning. Sarah's previous work experiences include teaching English in Spain and working as a Healthcare Consultant, where she provided project management and data analysis support to project teams. She holds a B.S. in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys rollerblading, hiking, trying new arts and crafts, and baking.
Alliyah is a Digital Content Manager at Fishtank Learning. Prior to joining the Fishtank team, Alliyah was an editorial intern at OffBeat Magazine, where she assisted the music magazine with managing digital content and press releases. Alliyah was also a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity where she served as the Vice President of Professional Development. Alliyah holds an Associate of Science degree from Richland College and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English from Loyola University New Orleans. Outside of work, Alliyah enjoys spending time outdoors, writing, cooking, and traveling.
Emily Glosser is a High School ELA Curriculum Writer. Her English teacher in the 11th grade ignited her love of literature and teaching, which inspired her to earn a B.A. in English and an M.A. in English from the University of Florida. Later she attended Teachers College, Columbia University where she received an M.A. in Secondary English Education. Before joining Fishtank, she taught high school English in New York City for six years and helped develop a curriculum project for the New York City Department of Education. When not working, she enjoys going to concerts, reading, cycling, and cooking.
Sarah is a Math Curriculum Writer for grades 6-8. She began her teaching career as part of Teach For America in Hartford, CT, and has since taught math and science for 10+ years across multiple districts. Sarah also spent several years as an instructional STEM coach, professional development specialist, and dean of curriculum and instruction. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Mount Holyoke College and has completed coursework in math teaching at the Master's level. Sarah believes that education has the power to change the world, and she is committed to centering anti-racism and equity in her professional and personal life. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading, and learning. She lives in Western Massachusetts with four young children and a well-loved cat.
Abby is an ES ELA Curriculum Writer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Goucher College and a Master's degree in Special Education from Touro College. She taught early elementary grades for five years, before going on to work as the Associate Director of Elementary Literacy at DREAM Charter school. Abby loves spending time with her family, reading, playing cribbage, and sewing.
Cristina is the Managing Director of K-12 ELA. Prior to joining the team at Fishtank, Cristina taught third grade and middle grades reading intervention, and served as a school leader and instructional coach for grades K-5 at Rocketship Education and grades 5-8 at Achievement First. Cristina developed ELA curriculum for Achievement First and most recently served as Director of Literacy for KIPP:NYC. Cristina holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University and earned her B.A. at Lafayette College. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, running, and everyday adventures with her family.
Tiffanie Johnson is the Director of Implementation Support for Elementary Schools. She began her literacy journey in Mississippi as a teacher for the Hinds County School District and Lee County School District. She then moved to Texas, working at KIPP Dallas Fort Worth in various roles, including Instructor, ESL Summer School Coordinator, and Upper School Literacy Coach. Later, Tiffanie became a District Lead Literacy Interventionist for Richardson Independent School District, overseeing reading programs to support interventionists and students. Most recently, she was an ELA Content Lead with Instruction Partners, where she helped develop leaders through professional development and support with implementing literacy curriculum programs. She holds a Master’s in Reading Education and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Jackson State University. Tiffanie enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling.
Claire is the CEO of Fishtank Learning. Prior to joining Fishtank Learning, Claire was a Vice President at the National Center on Time and Learning where she led the organization's knowledge management and dissemination work and developed materials and tools to support effective school redesign. She has produced numerous reports and videos on effective school practices. Claire holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Princeton University and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
Maureen Kavanaugh is the ELA Curriculum Director for grades 9-12. Prior to joining Fishtank, Maureen was a high school English teacher for 17 years, starting her career at a small independent school in San Francisco, CA, before moving back to Boston and teaching at Newton North High School in Newton, MA. She has also served as assistant department head, teacher mentor, and instructional coach. Maureen has a B.A. in English from the College of the Holy Cross and a M.A. in English from Stanford University. Outside of work, Maureen loves to balance out running, hiking, and yoga with reading, podcasts, and traveling.
Cheryl is the ELA Curriculum Director for grades 6–8 at Fishtank Learning. She brings extensive experience in education, having served as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Prior to joining Fishtank, she led K–8 literacy initiatives as Director of Literacy at the KIPP Foundation and designed early literacy curriculum with the National Summer School Initiative. She began her career in Miami-Dade and has since impacted schools across Memphis and beyond. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Philander Smith College, a Master’s degree from Florida State University, and a Doctorate from the University of Memphis. Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, leading wellness workshops, and spending time with her family.
Jessica Lamadieu is a Senior Manager of School Partnerships at Fishtank Learning. Prior to joining the Fishtank team, Jessica was a middle school English Language Arts teacher for 7 years in New York City public schools. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Cultural Anthropology from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts in Teaching and certification in Teaching Adolescent Exceptional Learners from Relay Graduate School of Education. Jessica currently resides in NYC. Outside of work she enjoys spending time reading, working out, and spending time with family.

Chris is a Full Stack Developer at Fishtank Learning. Prior to joining the Fishtank team, Chris worked as the Assistant Director of Digital Strategy for Facing History and Ourselves, working to develop their digital products and to scale their program delivery. Earlier in his career, Chris worked as a small donor fundraiser and political campaign recruiter. He holds a B.A. in History from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Ryan is a Developer at Fishtank Learning. Prior to joining the Fishtank team, Ryan worked as a Publications Coordinator at Harvard University, organizing conference proceedings and managing websites for an interdisciplinary research center. He has worked extensively as an English tutor from middle school to the university level. Ryan holds a B.A. in English from UMass Amherst. Outside of work, Ryan spends his time reading, hiking, and camping.
Holly is a Digital Content Manager. She began her career in education after being hired at Narragansett Elementary School where she student taught at during college. For the past 8 years, Holly has taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades at charter schools throughout New York City as well as Tampa, FL. Most recently, Holly was a Subject Matter Expert for K-2 Math for LearningMate. Holly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island. Outside of work, she loves to dance, go to spin bike classes and is an avid football and basketball watcher.
Faith is the K-2 Math Curriculum Writer at Fishtank. She began her career at Match Community Day as a second grade teacher. Before joining the Fishtank Learning team she was the Teaching & Learning Manager at Mass STEM Hub where she helped support schools in their implementation of high quality STEM curriculum. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from Kenyon College. Outside of work Faith loves reading, hosting dinner parties, road trips, and discussing all things pop culture.
Jenna is an ELA Curriculum Writer for grades 6-8. Prior to joining the Fishtank team, Jenna began her career as a Teach for America corps member in Hartford, CT, where she taught second and third grade. She then taught fifth and sixth grade for a number of years at a charter school in Boston, where she also served as a mentor teacher. Most recently, she was the Content and Curriculum Developer at Alexander Twilight Academy, a nonprofit program that provides academic and leadership enrichment to students from under-resourced backgrounds. Jenna holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tufts University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland, College Park. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys reading, writing, the outdoors, and spending time with family.
Maggie is the ELA Curriculum Director for grades K-5. Maggie joined the Fishtank team after a decade teaching 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades in public and charter schools in Providence, Brooklyn, and Boston. She has also worked as an Instructional Coach with the Sposato Graduate School of Education, an EdVestors Zeroing in on Math Teaching Fellow, and as the Director of High School Placement at CitySquash. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Brown University. Maggie loves reading, yoga, and spending time with her family on Cape Cod.
Emma is a School Partnerships Associate at Fishtank Learning. Prior to joining Fishtank, her work experience has spanned education, customer success, and operations. Emma began her career working as a marine mammal trainer before transitioning into the classroom as a middle school science teacher. She later moved into the EdTech space, supporting schools through customer success and partnership roles. She has also coordinated community events and led teams of volunteers across various nonprofit and educational initiatives. She holds a degree in Biology from the University of Florida. Outside of work, Emma is a trained classical pianist, an avid reader and writer, and enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherd rescue, Moose.
Leah Seewald is the K-2 Math Curriculum Director at Fishtank Learning. She began her career in elementary education, teaching 5th grade, Pre-K, and Kindergarten in both public and private schools. Leah then served for six years as a K-5 Math Teacher Specialist and created professional learning materials as a content developer for Pearson K12 (now Savvas Learning Co.). Prior to joining Fishtank, Leah spent three years as a District Math Instructional Specialist in a highly-regarded Texas school district, where she created curriculum content and coached teachers to build capacity. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh. A self-proclaimed math nerd, Leah loves all things math, but also enjoys baking, reading, exercising, and chauffeuring her three children to their many activities.
Isabel Sosa is a School Partnerships Manager at Fishtank Learning. Before joining the Fishtank team, she spent 4 years teaching upper elementary in Denver Public Schools. Prior to her career in education, Isabel worked as a Program Manager at StubHub (eBay) for 5 years. She holds a B.S. in Engineering Product Design from Stanford University and an M.A. in Teaching from the University of Colorado Denver. Isabel lives outside of Denver and enjoys getting lost in a good novel, traveling, being outside, and spending time with family and friends.
Carrie is the Curriculum Writer for grades 6-8. Carried joined the Fishtank team after a decade teaching 5th and 6th grade in charter schools in Boston. She has also worked on writing and editing curriculum at NoRedInk and CommonLit. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and a Masters of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Carrie loves spending time outdoors in Vermont with her family.
Jami is the Managing Director of Mathematics curriculum at Fishtank Learning, and the author of the middle school Fishtank Math curriculum. She began her career at Roxbury Preparatory Charter School, where she served for 10 years teaching 8th grade math and 5th grade special education. Prior to joining Fishtank, Jami also worked at the Achievement Network as the managing director of the math assessment team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Rochester, and a Master’s degree in teaching from Tufts University. She enjoys corny math jokes and spending time outdoors with her family.
Rebecca is a Middle School ELA Curriculum Writer from central New Jersey. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BA in Philosophy and an additional major in Creative Writing. She also holds an MA in Philosophy from Duquesne University. She taught undergraduate courses in Comparative Literature at Binghamton University for four years before moving to the K-12 sphere to write English curriculum for middle schools and high schools in the New York/New Jersey area, including Great Oaks Charter School, Success Academy, and the NYCDOE. Outside of work, Rebecca loves attending live music events, spending time in nature, and eating at fun restaurants that she finds on Food Network.
Emily is the Senior Director of Implementation and Consultation. Emily began her career in education through Teach For America Mississippi Delta, where she taught elementary school, and later became a middle school English Language Arts teacher. Emily has served as an Academic Dean, coaching 5-8 teachers in humanities, as well as a Middle School Principal with Achievement First. Most recently, she was the Director of Secondary Humanities for KIPP Nashville, leading the region-wide curriculum implementation and professional development programming for English Language Arts. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Columbia University. Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, traveling, running, and spending tons of time with her daughter, Raegan and their friends and family members.
