Write two to three paragraphs that summarize the challenges and achievements of your selected figure. Be sure to address the following questions in your summary:

  • Who were/are they? What are they from? 
  • What were/are they fighting against? What made them get involved in this fight?
  • How did they practice civil disobedience? What specific strategies did they use? Were they part of a larger group or movement?
  • What challenges or consequences did they face as a result of their civil disobedience?
  • What positive changes have occurred as a result of their civil disobedience?

Include an MLA formatted bibliography of your sources.
