Write an original short story that includes some of the elements of the magical realist fiction of the writers we have studied. Your story should be a time-limited event (remember, a short story is limited in scope!) and be contained to 2–3 believable and realistic characters. In addition, be sure to use descriptive details, imagery, and/or dialogue to make your characters and scenes come to life.
