Unit 2

12th Grade

Lesson 10 of 10

There are two assessment options to help teachers gauge student understanding of key unit content and standards. If both assessments are given, you will need two days for assessment.

The Content Assessment pushes students to synthesize unit content knowledge, vocabulary, or unit essential questions in writing. This assessment should take approximately one class period.

The Cold Read Assessment assesses students' knowledge of unit standards. As noted in the Assessment Answer Key, students answer standards-based comprehension questions based on an unfamiliar text. This assessment can be given in addition to the Content Assessment as a pulse point to what students can comprehend and analyze independently. This assessment should take approximately one class period.
