  • Use the “Be an Engineer” section from Soccer as guide for planning the experiment or develop and plan an additional experiment that challenges students to think about how force affects the motion of a soccer ball. 
  • This is a lab day and should be done in small groups.
  • This lesson should follow the structure of inquiry-based scientific method. If students do not have experience with asking questions and creating a hypothesis, make sure to spend time helping students understand why both are an important part of the scientific method.
