In upper elementary, Fishtank ELA offers knowledge-building units centered around engaging, increasingly complex texts. Fishtank ELA prioritizes both academic discourse and writing in every lesson to build students' fluency, confidence, and content knowledge. In each course, we offer a recommended sequence, with alternate unit options that can be substituted in at specific points in the course.
