Criteria for Success


  1. Collect, read, and organize categorical data in a table or tally chart to represent data in a bar graph.
  2. Represent data in a bar graph in which the vertical axis has an interval of one. 
  3. Include all necessary labels in a drawn bar graph, including a title, category labels, and numerical labels.
  4. Understand the purpose of a bar graph as a way to represent a data set to be able to see trends and analyze it more easily. 
  5. Make observations and inferences of the data represented in a bar graph.
  6. Answer simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a bar graph.
