Research one of the following Acts/Amendments:

  • Civil Rights Act (1964)
  • Voting Rights Act (1965)
  • Social Security Amendments of 1965 
  • Clean Air Act Amendments (1970)

Then write an informational report about this Act. Be sure to include:

  • When it was passed and why; who was involved in passing it?
  • What impact it had, and on whom?
  • Any obstacles faced passing it (optional).
  • Why the act is still important today?
