Why does Joey get frustrated during the field trip? In what ways is he being treated differently? Do Joey and Mrs. Maxy see eye to eye?
Why did Joey steal the pie? What effect does it have on him? What descriptive language does the author include to show how the pie affected him?
Why does Mrs. Maxy say, "It's just that there is always a difference between what you think you are doing and what happens to you and everyone else" (p. 66)?
